Lori J Cummings

Principal Mentor

Lori was born and raised in the San Fransico Bay area after living in  CA and UT, the Cummings were transplanted to Oklahoma in 2000.  With my Husband Jay we have 9 children with a 23 year span in age from oldest to youngest. It helps to keep her young.

She and her family owned 2 Cold Stone Creameries in Tulsa--during that time she employed and worked with several hundred youth.  She has also served in many church callings working with the youth from 18 months to 98 years.  Lori loves to work with people and teach!

She now lives on 3 acres of heaven with her hubby her 2 youngest children, chickens, goats, and 2 dogs (and growing).  Life is good!

Meet our Mentors

I grew up in S.E. Kansas with four other siblings, and most recently moved from North Virginia.  I enjoy reading, hiking, bluegrass music and hanging out with my family.  I received a B.A. in history at BYU-Idaho while my husband, who is from Oregon, was stationed in Iraq with the Army National Guard.  When he got back he finished up in computer science and we moved to Va. for a job with Lockheed Martin and started a family.  Deciding that Va. was too far away from our families to raise our children, we decided to move to Oklahoma.  We now have 3 kids that keep us busy.

Lindy was raised in a small town in Virginia.  She is an only child.  She moved to Oklahoma in 1998.  About 2 years later she met her dear, sweet husband, Mario.  They have four children, one boy, and three girls and recently adopted a sweet lab mix, Pepper.  This is their third year homeschooling and second year with Leadership Education.  Lindy recently received her associate’s degree in science and is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders.  Eventually she would like to pursue a master’s degree and become a speech and language pathologist.  Lindy is active in her church callings and has served in teaching the youngest to the oldest of souls.  She loves to sew and do any kind of crafting.  Chocolate is her true love, after her husband of course..

Terina Darcey’s personal Bio:

Spanning the past half century, I have been an amateur papercrafter, mommy satirist, bookkeeper, dietitian, recipe inventor, and most recently blog battler, but it all pales in importance to whatever it is that I am doing right now.

I look forward to mentoring Key of Liberty because it affords me the opportunity to learn so much about Freedom.  I think I’m uniquely suited to mentor revolutionary history for three reasons:

1.     I am historically talented (old),

2.     I was young once, and

3.     I have led many a personal revolution.

My greatest hope is to help youth succeed and l look forward to a great year of growth.
